Summer Blossom Honey
Our honey is 100% pure, local and raw. Our Native Irish bees gather seasonal summer blossom nectar foraging in North Wicklow. Honey is simply extracted, coarsely filtered below hive temperature to retain beneficial properties. This is a single origin honey, foraged from wild flowers, bramble and clover blossoms.

Wicklow Heather Honey
Our honey is 100% pure, local and raw. Our Native Irish bees gather nectar from the moors across Little Sugar loaf, Great Sugar loaf and Carrigoona in North Wicklow. Honey is extracted through pressing out the combs, since is has a jelly consistency, it is then coarsely filtered below hive temperature to retain beneficial properties.

As part of our conservation mission, NIHBS advocates that Irish beekeepers buy native bees. To that end, NIHBS is affiliated with multiple bee breeding groups located around the country. Consumers in turn should buy local and support their local beekeepers.
